Does a Swiss visa cover other European countries?

Yes — all Schengen countries such as France, Italy, Germany and Austria, as long as Switzerland is your main destination. It doesn't cover the UK.

Does a patient's companion need a visa?

Yes — the companion applies separately with the hospital letter naming them. We prepare both files together so they're processed at the same time.
